Reston, VA, April 23, 2024 – YRCI, a leading provider of public sector professional services and management consulting, proudly announces the appointment of Cristina Chiappe to the position of Senior Director for HR Shared Services and Training where she will oversee the Human Resources Remote Operations Center (HRROC) and YRCI University (YRCI U).

Chiappe, eager to take on her new role, shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am honored to be appointed to this position and excited to contribute to the continued success of the HRROC and YRCI U. I look forward to collaborating with our talented team to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results for our clients.”

Chiappe previously served as Director of the YRCI University, where she demonstrated outstanding leadership by spearheading the development of multiple training and re-skilling programs tailored to employees and federal clients, while also establishing the first of many valuable partnerships with colleges and universities to enhance educational opportunities for stakeholders. Prior to joining YRCI, Chiappe held senior positions in the federal government, including serving in the Senior Executive Service (SES) at the USDA National Finance Center (NFC), where she led a team responsible for payroll operations and human resources (HR) services for over 661,000 employees nationwide. Chiappe also served as Deputy Administrator for Management at the USDA Food Nutrition Service (FNS), overseeing various aspects of agency operations, including HR and contracts management.

“Chiappe’s extensive experience aligns seamlessly with this role,” said Susie Field, Vice President of HR Shared Services and Training. “Her exceptional leadership skills and dedication to excellence made her the ideal candidate to help lead the HRROC and YRCI U into its next phase of growth and success.”

The appointment of Chiappe comes as Thomas Mulhern concludes his tenure as Director of the HRROC after two and half years of dedicated service. Under Mulhern’s leadership, the HRROC has consistently achieved outstanding results, demonstrating the profound impact of his strategic vision and commitment to excellence.

“We are grateful for Mulhern’s invaluable contributions to the HRROC and YRCI,” said Hans Jaeger, YRCI CEO. “His legacy of excellence will continue to inspire us as we move forward, building upon the strong foundation he has laid.”

As YRCI looks ahead to the future, Chiappe’s appointment represents an exciting opportunity for the organization. With her leadership and vision, Chiappe is poised to lead the HRROC and YRCI U into a new era of innovation, achievement, and major expansion.
